Central Delhi will soon have internet access in every nook and cranny as the New Delhi Municipal Council is planning to make the area fully WiFi-enabled.
“We have finalised the design for common streetlight poles with LED lights, security cameras and WiFi antennas to save costs,” said NDMC chairperson Jalaj Shrivastava, while presenting the council’s budget for the financial year 2014-15 on Wednesday. It will be free up to 15-30 minutes. Thereafter, it might be chargeable,” he added.
