New Delhi: 10-year-old son of a milkman from rural Haryana, Shubham Jaglan created history by winning the IJGA World Stars of Junior Golf, in Las Vegas.
Earlier on Sunday, Jaglan, scripted an impressive one-stroke win at the Junior World Golf Championships being played at Welk Resort Fountain Course in California. This was his 2nd world title in 2 weeks.
The young man was elated with his success.
“It’s feels great. All my friends are congratulating me,” he said.
“I am just working hard and being honest, there are no short-cuts for me,” he added.
On a lighter note Shubham said that his father was ensuring that he was in a calm state of mind.
“I want to celebrate but my dad wants me to stay grounded,” he said.
