See what your sleep position says about your relationship!

Date:

Married? Wondering what stage your relationship is in? Consulting websites to know whether you as a couple will last? Worry not, there’s something you do everyday that will tell you what’s going to happen next.

As couples, there are ways in which people sleep at night and this doesn’t change drastically. It does change, but it’s gradual and this reflects how your relationship is progressing as well. Here’s what your sleep position tells about you as a couple.

Spooning

SPOONING

Couples who spoon while they sleep are deeply in love, secure in the relationship and protective towards each other. This is perhaps the earliest and best stage of a relationship.

Chasing

THE CHASE

This position talks about slight insecurities and clinginess. The partner who faces outside is the one who like to be pursued, while the one clinging on is the one who’s ‘chasing’.

Tangling

LOVE KNOTS

Also known as love knots, this is not just an uncomfortable sleeping position, but is also not great for the relationship because it signifies dependency, which ultimately punctures the relationship as well.

Moving apart

LOSENING UP

Couples who sleep close to each other for some part of the night but eventually face away signify a maturing couple. These are people who enjoy intimacy but know where to draw the line.

Facing away

BACK KISSING

These are mature couples. They give each other space and breathe down each others’ throats. This is the most common sleeping position.
