Fishermen killed in lightning strike

Puducherry, Aug 25 (PTI) A 30-year old fisherman was struckdead by lightning in neighbouring Vaithikuppam village, policesaid today. The victim was returning home after berthing his fishingvessel when lightning struck him last night and he was charredto death, they said. Parts of the union territory was lashed by heavy rainsaccompanied by lightning last night. PTI CorVS
