Keeping with its commitment to introduce petrol versions of the various car models in India, top car brand Mercedes-Benz has launched the petrol variant of the GLE SUV in the country priced at ₹ 74.90 lakh.
The launch was the first of many of the planned launches this year. It is their seventh product to have come out this year out of the promised twelve. As of now, the company has kept in line with its timeline and its commitment to its consumers. The company has also confirmed that it plans to complete its product portfolio in the country by September this year.
Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “Mercedes-Benz has the most comprehensive luxury SUV portfolio in the country. With the launch of the GLE 400 4MATIC, our discerning customers will now have the option of choosing between the petrol and the diesel version of our highest selling SUV. He further added, “For the first time, we are introducing the GLE with a petrol mill and this underscores our strategy of offering the right product for our growing customer base. This is the fourth SUV we have introduced this year.”
