Land Rover has released a teaser image of the front fascia of all new 2017 Discovery. Discovery is company’s full size seven seater SUV and is scheduled to make the global debut on September 28, ahead of the Paris Motor Show.
The new Land Rover Discovery is based on the Discovery Vision concept that was showcased at the 2014 New York Auto Show. As seen in the image, the front face of the 2017 Discovery is all different from the current version of the SUV and in fact looks more inspired and similar to the compact SUV Evoque. It is said that the 2017 Discovery will be based upon Range Rover’s aluminium platform resulting it to be a lot lighter than its predecessor.
“The new Discovery redefines the large SUV. Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV”, said Gerry McGovern, Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer.
The all new Discovery will be unveiled globally on September 28 just ahead of 2016 Paris Motor Show. Expect some more teasers on our way there.
