Second Test: India dominated day one as Virat, Pujara struck centuries against England

Visakhapatnam: India ended the first day of the second test on a dominating side against England on Thursday.

After early two wickets of KL Rahul and Murli Vijay, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and C. Pujara took hold of the situation and the two batsmen struck centuries building up a 226-runs partnership for the fourth wicket before Pujara got out at 248 scoring 119runs of 204-balls that included 12-boundries and two sixes.

At the end of the first day India put 317/4 on the board with Viral Kohli (151) and R. Ashwin in the middle.
