Apple iPhone 8 might just come with an OLED curved display in 2017, says a new report in Wall Street Journal. The reports that Apple will drastically change the design and specifications of the iPhone in 2017 have been doing the rounds for some time and it was reported earlier that Apple will ditch the LCD panel for an OLED one. Now reports that Apple has asked its suppliers to bump up production of OLED and give prototype screens better than the ones from Samsung.
Apple iPhone 8 won’t just feature a change in display and design, but will also see the introduction of wireless charging as well. According to a well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, iPhone 8 users will be able to charge the phone’s battery using a wireless charging system similar to the one on Apple Watches and it will offer faster speeds.
