We all love fast and practical sports cars and the so does automobile manufacturers like Audi. The German automaker, at the recent auto show revealed the 2018 iteration of its S5 Sportsback and we are here to tell you that it one heck of looker! Featuring Audi’s latest design language, the 2018 S5 gets newly designed headlamps with LED DRLS and a chin that is so sharp it can give keira knightly a complex.

Currently, the older generation of the Audi S5 is on sale in India and we expect the new-age model to make its way into our country sometime next year. Till tell, here are 5 points highlighting the all-new 2018 Audi S5.
First things first, the Audi S5 gets a turbocharged V6 petrol engine which churns out 354Bhp along with 500Nm of peak torque. The combination is enough to propel the car up to a top speed of 250km/h while 0 to 100 km/h comes in just 4.7 seconds.
The Audi S5 sportsback gets an 8-speed trip tonic automatic transmission which sends the power to all the four wheel through Audi’s clever Quattro four-wheel drive system. The gearbox has a been tuned uniquely to provide the lower gears with short, sporty ratios, while the upper gears are long to reduce revs and fuel consumption.

The car sits on 18-inch alloy wheels and rides of specially developed S Sport Suspension. It features five-link suspension at both front and rear. The Audi drive select handling system integrates what is referred to as adaptive CDC (continuous damping control) dampers along with the engine, steering, tiptronic and optional sport differential. This lets the driver control the characteristics of the engine and suspension over several modes.
Apart from all the mechanical and technical wizardry, the 2018 Audi S5 also scored high when it comes to features and creature comforts on board. The same comes with Audi’s MMI 8.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the Audi phone box, leather upholstery, Audi virtual cockpit among the others.

Finally coming to the design, the same has been upgraded from the front and from the back, however, its side profile remains exactly the same as before. Other upgrade and modifications have been done on the inside of the vehicle. When launched, we expect the prices of the Audi S5 Sports back to retail at a premium price.
