A lady clerk working in Railways was issued a show cause notice as she didn’t sing a song with the GM at midnight. She had refused to sing with the South East railway zone GM, Satyendra Prakash.
The notice adds that she wont be allowed to participate in any events for next six months. She was transferred from Raipur to Bhilai, before she could respond to the notice.
She has been appointed through the cultural quota and the allegations blame on her that she has shown indisciplined behaviour by not singing with the senior and not following his orders.
Though many questions are raised, how far it is advisable to keep a lady clerk occupied till 1.30 in the night. Also she has denied to sing the duo song, with a male officer, which she said she hasn’t practiced.
DRM Rahul Gautam said, the lady clerk has done wrong, she has crossed her boundaries.
