Michael Clarke learns to drive tuk-tuk in Bengaluru

Michael Clarke, who is in India for the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2016-17, was spotted driving the much loved auto-rickshaw or as the foreigners call it the ‘tuk-tuk, in Bengaluru. Clarke, shared a video of himself learning, and driving the tuk-tuk in a by lane of Bengaluru via an Instagram post. Clarke, known for his staunch behavior on the field has always showed keen interest in absorbing various cultures and traditions. But on the field, Clarke remained a fierce competitor against India.

A very easy and rather cheap mean of travelling in and around any city in India, tuk-tuk is quite famous in the Indian subcontinent. Clarke, who is in India for his commentating stint had famously, played his first-ever Test in at the very same city. During his career, Clarke always tormented India in Tests, his records stood at 2,049 runs at 53.92, that includes seven hundreds and 6 fifties.

Cricketers riding the auto rickshaw is not new. During India’s tour to Sri Lanka in 2015, similar scenes were observed when Indian skipper Virat Kohli, all-rounder Stuart Binny and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was seen riding a tuk-tuk in Colombo.
