Photojournalists have always been in a controversy of just capturing and not helping the situation. It’s very hard for journalists and photojournalists to get into action in a place like Syria which is currently the most disturbed place in the world.
Kevin Carter, a famous photojournalist committed suicide after he was criticised for his award-winning picture in Africa, but Abd Alkader Habak took the matter into his own hands and kept his camera aside with his crew to help the injured kid after a bomb explosion on the spot.

“The scene was horrible — especially seeing children wailing and dying in front of you. So I decided along with my colleagues that we’d put our cameras aside and start rescuing injured people.” Abd said in an interview.
“I was overcome with emotion. What I and my colleagues witnessed is indescribable.” He added.

The pain and agony continue in Syria with interference from different countries backing up different sides. The effort is taken by this war photojournalist surely restores our faith in humanity.
