Meghalaya Cheif Minister Mukul Sangma on Sunday filed an FIR over fake twitter account which was created by his name. After Sangma was informed about the fake account he lodged a formal complaint at the Sadar police station.

The message posted from the fake Twitter account stated: “If I win elections, I will legalise weed (marijuana) in Shillong.”

“We have written to Twitter seeking details about the user who created the account,” Marak said. The police registered his case under many sections of IPC.
