Clashes between students and forces leave 26 injured

Clashes between stone-pelting students and security forces were reported from a number of areas of Kashmir on Wednesday, resulting in injuries to 26 people, police said.

Students of Higher Secondary schools and colleges held protests at some places in Srinagar, Pulwama, Pampore, Shopian, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Bandipora against the alleged high-handedness of security forces during similar student protests at Pulwama on April 15, a police official said.
