Mumbai won the match and elected to bat. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru looked opposite to its nature with a low scoring match. KKR looked completely out of touch batting first. Exceptional bowling by Karn Sharma who took 4 wickets giving away just 16 runs in 4 overs ensured a low total of just 107 on the scoreboard. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishank Jaggi managed to build a partnership by scoring 31 and 28 runs respectively to get the team pass 100 runs mark.
Mumbai chased the total in just 14.3 overs with 6 wickets to spare. Krunal Pandey scored 40 runs off 30 balls with 8 fours to beat KKR in an one-sided match in Qualifier 2.
