With a humongous population of 1.3 billion and growing, a star in India can hog the limelight and trend for days without the world paying much attention. Though, it may not be really true for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is on her 15th trip to the iconic Cannes film festival held at the French Riviera.

A pro now, Aishwarya who had made some sartorial mistakes early in her outings at Cannes is slaying it this time. On the Red Carpet and out of it she rules and the social media is happily lapping it all up, asking for more.

Accompanied by her daughter, Aradhya, who also made her Red Carpet debut in a pink Gauri and Nayanika creation last evening, the lady is breaking the Internet with her myriad looks ranging from mermaid to Cinderella to a Siren in red.

Her 2017 Cannes outing has been a trending topic for the last few days and #AishwaryaAtCannes refuses to go away any time soon. YouTube, is flush with make-up tutorials on her various looks and Instagram and Facebook have a zillion fans going berserk.

Unlike earlier and especially right after her pregnancy and childbirth when her extra weight had garnered a whole lot of negative publicity, a toned and relaxed Aishwarya Rai with her mini self in tow is just making the right waves in this town teeming with the whos-who of the entertainment industry. This is also the 70th year of the festival that garners eminent and well-known film personalities from across the globe.

Loreal who is responsible for her Cannes appearance for the last 15 years because of her association with the cosmetics giant as a brand ambassador, also put up a show of Devdas this year which Aishwarya presented on behalf of the team. Here’s the video of the event posted by Loreal,

With a been-there-done-that unhesitating confidence, poise and her famous charm that got her the Miss World crown in 1994, she shows that she still has what it takes to win over the public.

The paparazzi’s happy with her and clicking away as she waves and pouts at them, the pictures becoming instant hits on the Internet even as the event is on.

Fans are gushing and though there are a few naysayers and trolls as we pointed out in our story yesterday, most of the world is just waiting for the “next look” to go viral.

Mallika Sherawat was also spotted in a pink gown on day 1. But, no one could maintain the momentum like Aishwarya Rai.
