There is no doubt that the hybrid cars are going to be the next constant in the near future, but it seems British automotive giant Range Rover is a hurry as it has literally up the game in electric vehicle class with its latest move.
Cars are all about comfort and power but till now it was coming on price of pollution. but, what if you could get both and not affect the environment? Well, Range Rover simply proved that this is possible with its recent Dragon challenge.
In the challenge Range Rover Sport PHEV Hybrid took 99 sharp hairpins and then climb 999 steep steps up the side of a mountain-Heaven’s Gate on Tianmen Mountain, China
Land Rover’s Experience expert Phil Jones who was also at the event said “This was the hardest Range Rover Sport challenge I’ve ever been involved with because, until we reached the top, we couldn’t categorically say we would succeed. By making it to the summit, we’ve proven the phenomenal capability of the Range Rover Sport plug-in hybrid like never before – with a genuine world first.”
