The much-awaited Deadpool 2 is here. A brand new trailer for the film is released online and it is already becoming a rage.
The new trailer is Bob Ross-inspired which is basically a few seconds of real footage and a proper Deadpool 2 trailer. It officially introduces us to the newest mutant in town, Cable (Josh Brolin), Fox has released the second and presumably final full-length trailer for the Ryan Reynolds-starring film.
Deadpool 2 is directed by John Wick co-director David Leitch, who took over the sequel from original Deadpool helmer Tim Miller, the still-untitled follow-up will see the return of some familiar faces, along with the introduction of brand new ones that could potentially become Wade Wilson’s trust crew moving forward.
Plot details are still scant at the moment. The trailers have been doing a good job hyping people up on Reynolds’ return as Deadpool, while also keeping the film’s narrative under wrap. Given Wade’s knack for breaking the fourth wall, Fox has been able to get away with this by filling the Deadpool 2 trailer with funny quips, without giving away key story beats at the same time. Most fans are hopeful that with original Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese being back for the sequel, the story for Deadpool 2 should live up to the standard for quality established by its predecessor. If nothing else, Deadpool 2 promises to be a bigger and crazier sequel in (hopefully) all the best ways.
