Tighten security for April 10 Bharat Band, orders MHA

By looking at the previous Bharat band conditions and several killings that took place, Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to all states on Monday. The advisory orders to take necessary precautionary measures by all the states for the Bharat Band which is planned on April 10 by some groups.

Ministry of Home Affairs advisory said, “MHA has advised the states to beef up security and make appropriate arrangements to prevent any untoward incident, including an issue of prohibitory orders, if necessary. It has asked for intensification of patrolling in all sensitive locations so as to prevent any loss of life or damage to property.”

Further, it went on, “The Advisory stressed that District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police be made personally responsible for ensuring that law and order situation remains firmly under control in the areas of their jurisdiction,”

The main aim of MHA is to ensure security, peace, and harmony in all the states. Also, they want to be well prepared as to what happened earlier.

This advisory which for April 10 Bharat Band, came looking at the mass killing which happened at last Bharat Band by the Dalit group against the alleged dilution of SC/ST (prevention of atrocities) Act by the Supreme Court on April 2 Bharat Band.

It is believed according to media reports that Bharat Band on April 10 is called by some groups against the caste-based reservations in jobs and education.

The groups rumored to be protesting tomorrow will be against the violence that was witnessed on April 2 Bharat Band which included mass violence and killings.
