Galaxy Note 4 to sport metal design

Date:

Washington: Samsung next addition to their smartphone line the Galaxy Note 4 is said to sport a new metal design.

Specifications leaked earlier this week suggest the device could boast a whopping 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display along with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels resolution. The device will be powered by two processor choices, which is in-line with the earlier leaks.

The processors include a quad-core (Snapdragon 805) chipset clocked at 2.5 GHz for the model number SM-N910S and an octa-core (Exynos 5433) processor with a combination of four 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and additional four Cortex-A57 cores pertaining to the model number SM-N910C.

Notably, rumour says the Galaxy Note 4 will indeed come with a killer 4 GB of RAM. When it comes to camera, the phablet will sport a 16 MP rear-facing camera unit with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and dual-LED flash. In addition, the handset will offer 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of in-built storage and microSD slot for expansion up to 128 GB.

As far as the standard connectivity goes, the Galaxy Note 4 will support Bluetooth v4.0, 2G/3G/4G, and microUSB v3.0. The device will run on Android v4.4.3 KitKat out of the box.

However, the phone is expected to roll out on September 3 at IFA 2014 event scheduled in Berlin. The upcoming phablet can easily be called as one of the most anticipated high-end devices of 2014.
