Eight people lost their lives while 30 others sustained injuries after the bus that they were travelling in collided with a truck on Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida during the early hours of Friday.
The police rushed to the spot after the incident and the investigation is underway.
The injured have been admitted in a nearby hospital. Further details awaited.
