A picture of a man surrounded by police is being shared online with a claim that he is the ‘juvenile’ convict in the Nirbhaya rape case.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found that the man in the picture is indeed one of the convicts in the Nirbhaya rape case but his name is Vinay Sharma.
In fact, for legal reasons, the picture and the original name of the minor convict was never released to the public.
This proves that the viral claim is misleading.
