Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon team up for ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’

Mumbai, Aug 24 (PTI) Actors Rajkummar Rao, AyushmannKhurrana and Kriti Sanon will star in director Ashwini IyerTiwari’s upcoming film "Bareilly Ki Barfi". Ashwini, who made her directorial debut earlier with yearwith Swara Bhaskar-starrer "Nil Battey Sannata", revealed thenews on her Twitter page. "Excited,nervous 2 direct lovely @kritisanon @ayushmannk@RajkummarRao in a different story close to my#bareillykibarfi!" she tweeted. Kriti, 26, re-tweeted her post and wrote, "Super excitedto start this journey with you!" The film is reportedly a romantic-comedy set in UttarPradesh. This is the first time that the three young stars willbe working together. Rajkummar, 31, expressed his excitement about the projectand tweeted, "Here we go. #BareillykiBarfi. Exciting timesahead with @Ashwinyiyer @kritisanon @ayushmannk@JungleePictures #BRfilms looking forward." The movie is being produced by Junglee Pictures. PTI PSHPSH
