7 dead in North Delhi building collapse

Date:

New Delhi: At least seven persons, including one woman, are feared dead in a four-storey building collapse in North Delhi’s Inderlok on Saturday.

According to eye-witnesses, the incident occurred around 8:30 am. While 12 persons have been rescued from the debris, others are feared to be trapped.

The building was around 50-year-old and construction in an adjacent plot caused the collapse. The locality was heavily congested.

According to fire officials, they got a call around 9am about a building collapsing at Tulsi Nagar in Inderlok, following which four fire tenders were rushed to the spot for the rescue operations.
