New Delhi: Canada is hoping Prime Minister Modi will visit the country when he travels to the US in September. BJP Global Convener Vijay Jolly is joining the country in celebrating India’s 68th Independence Day there.
Jolly will be the guest of honour at the event which will see Indian ex-patriots pay homage to Freedom fighters- Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Â
He will then move on to the US with other BJP leaders, which will see him take part in community outreach programmes, meeting corporate leaders and lawmakers.
The visit comes as the BJP carves out the path for Modi’s visit to Obama.                                                                                                                                                    Â
