New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will now connect to people over radio, seeking suggestions and answering questions on issues concerning the common man. Having made up his mind to reach out to people over radio, he has sought suggestions from the public on how to go about in terms of format and frequency.

“Let’s connect on the Radio…Want your ideas,” Modi tweeted on Saturday. The Prime Minister “has invited suggestions from people to connect on radio. He has encouraged people to share their ideas in this regard on the MyGov platform, a PMO statement said.

Sources said he wants to know from people as to what should be the format of the interaction and what should be the issues to be discussed. The Prime Minister also wants to know the frequency of the interaction, like whether it should be once a week or once a month.

He also wants suggestions as to whether the interaction should be with pre-invited audience or open to all for phone-ins. Explaining the idea behind the move, the sources said the Prime Minister is looking at different ways of interacting with common people.

He has already reached out to various segments of the society through video conferencing, emails and SMSes.
