Mumbai: Wishes poured in like rain for King Khan from all quarters on his birthday. Shah Rukh Khan who turned 49 on Sunday has all the reasons to celebrate and party hard on his birthday.
Ringing in his special day with the fans, SRK waved out to the hysteric crowd waiting outside his palatial bungalow Mannat, in Mumbai. The superstar, who just finished his post-release promotions of “Happy New Year” took to Twitter to express his joy on witnessing the madness.
“So many beautiful people outside Mannat. Thank you all for celebrating my birthday with such ownership and love. Very humbling…,” SRKÂ tweeted.
The superstar, whose birthdays are usually a low-key affair, once said he loves unwrapping gifts. But when wife-producer Gauri Khan was quizzed on what she wishes to gift her husband this birthday, the answer to it was a surprising one. “He gives me gifts that I happily accept, but I never gift him anything in return… and that is the rule.”
Meanwhile, the social media was peppered with birthday wishes and his followers managed to trend the day on Twitter using #HappyBirthdaySRK. Bollywood’s bigwigs took to twitter to wish him on his birthday.
