Hamid Karzai calls for neighbourhood cooperation

New Delhi: Former President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai who is on a tour to India called for neighbourhood cooperation emphasizing that India and Pakistan must cooperate and keep rivalry at bay. He was speaking at the neighbourhood lecture series “Afghanistan and the neighbourhood” chaired by Former Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. Karzai said Afghanistan gave high priority to India in its foreign policy. The former Afghan president said by checking militancy Pakistan can make its relations better with Afghanistan, India and other neighbours.
