Sonia Gandhi admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi was on Thursday admitted to a hospital for treatment of lower respiratory tract infection.

“She has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here for further treatment of the infection,” AICC general secretary Ajay Maken told PTI.

Last year, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to AIIMS hospital after she was taken ill in the Lok Sabha where her pet welfare legislation and UPA’s ambitious Food Security Bill was in the final stages of adoption.
