Washington: Budweiser has been named the most searched for beer according to Google.

In its annual list of the top search terms around the world, in the drinks, while all-time favorites Budweiser, Corona and Keystone topped the list, margarita, sangria, mojito, mimosa and martini made the top five in cocktails, reportedly.

The most searched beers of 2014 are:

  • Budweiser
  • Corona
  • Keystone
  • Miller
  • Blue Moon
  • Coors
  • Bud Light
  • PBR
  • Modelo
  • Sierra Nevada

Google’s search list revealed that while Ebola and the death of comedian Robin Williams gripped headlines, a lot of people were still into food and beverages.

While “pizza” became the most searched for food term of 2014, it was Chinese food related items that were more searched for globally than any other cuisine.

Restaurant was more searched than recipe this year, meaning people more into steeping out to eat, and 2 new favorite super foods  beat kale this year namely chia seeds and goji berries.
