Bollywood stars are believed to lead lives like kings. They earn in crores, hence their houses too are expected to be larger-than-life.

Bollywood actors invest their money in buying their luxury dream home. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and many more own a few best and most expensive apartments in Mumbai.

1. Amitabh Bachchan

The Bollywood’s most renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan has a paradise on the streets of Mumbai. Jalsa has become a landmark in Mumbai. He is actually owner of five bungalows. First house is located in Juhu Vile Parle Development scheme named ‘Prateeksha’, while he bought ‘Janak’ in 2004 which is used as office, the third is ‘Vatsa’ which is known to have been leased to Citibank, the fourth is ‘Jalsa’ where the whole family resides and the final bungalow is not known.

 

2. Deepika Padukone

By far the most successful heroine today, Ram-Leela actress Deepika Padukone opted to live away from the preferred residence choices of Bollywood folks. Instead of the outskirts, the young actress lives in a flat in the posh Beau Monde building in Prabhadevi, central Mumbai. She previously resided in Bandra, bought the three-bedroom flat in one of Beau Monde’s three 33-storey high buildings in 2010. Beau Monde is close to the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi.

 

3. Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the richest celebs of B-Town. His bungalow Mannat is a well-known tourist spot in Bandra, Mumbai, and has also been declared a heritage sight which exempts it from ever being demolished. This bungalow once belonged to wealthy parsis and is currently occupied by SRK, wife Gauri, their two children and SRK’s sister. The actor has also extended the size and the purposes of his home into an all-in-one office and it seems even a movie studio is in the works. It is one of the most popular celebrity homes around.

 

4. Katrina Kaif

Dhoom 3 actress Katrina Kaif owns a house on the top floor of Bandra’s Guldev Sagar society, located on Waterfield Road in Bandra. Kaif’s house has been a regular camping site for shutterbugs ever since she started dating Ranbir Kapoor. The building’s colourful entrance is very different from other star homes, which are focused more on the design.

 

5. John Abraham

John is a classy and stylish actor who also lives it up in style at his sea-facing apartment. The house is spacious and well decorated and reflects well on the actor’s sense of style. He has always been known to be a cool customer and has also let TV shows inside his home to display the insides of his wonderful apartment.

 

6.  Sonam Kapoor

Veteran Anil Kapoor owns the perfect-looking bungalow in Juhu, where he lives with his jewellery designer wife Sunita and their kids — actress Sonam, producer and stylist Rhea and son Harshvardhan, who is an aspiring actor.

 

7. Ranbir Kapoor

The most happening star of today, Ranbir Kapoor lives with his parents, actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. The family lives in their large Krishna Raj bungalow, which is in the exclusive Pali Hill area of Bandra. This iconic house was bought by the family and named after Ranbir’s grandfather, renowned producer-actor-director Raj Kapoor and his elegant wife Krishna Kapoor. Ranbir has recently moved into a swanky sea-facing apartment in suburban Bandra with Katrina Kaif.

 

8. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra owns five flats in a residential building called Raj Classic, in Versova, in the western suburb of Mumbai, which were combined to make one huge house. The actress’s mum also lives in the same building.

 

9.  Aamir Khan

The star lives in the Bella Vista Apartments in Bandra West. His home is secluded from public view as one can only catch a glimpse of a window or two from the road. His home is comparatively well shielded from fans and the press as compared to some other stars. The star also deserves a special mention as his affluence is hardly seen to go up in its excesses.

 

10. Alia Bhatt

Student of the Year debutante Alia Bhatt, 19, resides with parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan in Juhu’s Silver Beach Apartments. The famous address is quite close to the Sun-N-Sand hotel, a preferred hangout spot for Bollywood folks.
