From flab to fab: How Bhumi took B’wood by storm

Date:

Mumbai: Bhumi Pednekar’s big Bollywood debut is out and she couldn’t have asked for more. Dum Laga Ke Haisha is getting admirable reviews from critics as well as moviegoers and Bhumi’s acting has been praised by one and all.

Bhumi, who was assistant to Shanoo Sharma, the casting director of Yash Raj Films, was instructed to refrain from talking to the media before the release of the film.

To maintain the curiosity among the viewers, the film was not promoted and that’s why we didn’t actually see Bhumi off-screen.

Though the change is big but people are disappointed as the plump Bhumi has evidently lost a whole lot of kilos.

However, the actress in real life has a different image to portray. In the recent pictures the actress is looking terrific and maybe that’s the reason why she was absent from the little promotional activities that the film did.

At the recent special film screening of ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha,’ Bhumi gave a rather surprising appearance looking much slimmer than her filmy avatar.

The actress who now has a big YRF launch in Bollywood has signed a three film deal with the production house.

In her upcoming films, the actress hopes to get similar performance-oriented roles like her debut movie.
