Mumbai: The Worli police said on Sunday that Anil Virmani, husband of actress Rati Agnihotri, recorded his statement with them late Saturday evening after being summoned by the investigating officers.

Rati Agnihotri on Saturday had approached the Worli police to file a domestic violence case against her husband.

“The case is a domestic matter and investigations are under way. Virmani has complied with every request made by the police. On Saturday, he came to the station in the evening and recorded his statement,” said Vinay Kulkarni, senior police inspector, Worli police station.
