Lamborghini back with a beauty

Date:

Shanghai: Lamborghini rolled out its new Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce supercar at the 16th Shanghai Auto Show. The LP 750-4 Superveloce is touted as one of the most sports-oriented, fastest and most emotional series model ever produced by Lamborghini.

Limited to 600 cars globally, the newest raging bull is a key product for the Italian marque as the year 2015 signifies a decade of its presence in China.

Powered by a V12 engine, that churns out a gut wrenching 750PS, the LP 750-4 Superveloce races from 0-100kmph in just 2.8 seconds.

The car’s electronically controlled 4WD system is supported by Lamborghini Dynamic Steering and magneto-rheological pushrod suspension.

The LP 750-4 Superveloce uses ultra-lightweight carbon fiber in its extremely sharp design. The supercar made its debut almost two months ago in Geneva. It’s just the fourth model in Lamborghini’s 50-year history to wear the ‘SV’ badge.

‘‘This new car represents the perfect combination of Lamborghini’s expertise in lightweight engineering and sophisticated technical features,” CEO Stephan Winkelmann said at the Shanghai Auto Show.

“The new Aventador SuperVeloce continues the Lamborghini tradition of SV models, pushing the boundaries in terms of performance and pure driving emotion,” he added.

The car has been priced at $493,069 onwards.
