New Delhi: Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar made his debut on popular photo-sharing website Instagram on his 42nd birthday. The legendary cricketer uploaded his photo with son Arjun, daughter Sarah and wife Anjali. Tendulkar posted the image on Instagram and wrote, “Enjoyed my birthday with a lunch with family!â€
Soon after Sachin Tendulkar shared his first picture on Instagram, his account got followed by over 40,000 people within few hours. Prominent personalities across the world expressed their birthday wishes for the master blaster.Â
Tendulkar who recently had crossed eight million followers on Twitter, shared his Instagram link on micro blogging site too. The batting maestro has been active on Twitter in recent times. He congratulated Michael Clarke and Daniel Vettori when the duo announced their retirement from One-Day Internationals (ODI) after World Cup 2015. He also expressed his condolence on the sad demise of a Bengal player Ankit Keshri.
Sachin, the greatest batsman of all the time bid adieu to cricket on November 16, 2013. During his career, Sachin made several records and broke many records too. He is the only player to have scored one hundred international centuries and the first batsman to score a double century in a One Day International. He also holds the record for most number of runs in both ODI and Test cricket.
