Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who completed 23 years in Bollywood on June 25, has thanked his fans ‘for being there for him’ in an emotional video message posted by him on Twitter.
Shah Rukh Khan uploaded the video to show his gratitude towards his fans with hashtag #23GoldenYearsOfSRK on Twitter.
“Managed 2 do the video.Not the best effort as I was rushed but creativity sometimes takes a backseat to feelings,†he tweeted.
With a one minute and 46-seconds video, the 49-year-old actor gave 23 reasons why he feels grateful about his fans’ support, and thanked for all the good and bad things people did for him.
In the video, the actor, 49, said, “I really wanted to thank you all for very many things. Thank you for the company you keep me in the middle of the night when I’m still awake and the world is still sleeping and I am feeling lonely.
Thank you for all the good things, thank you for all the bad things. Thank you for the likes, thank you for the dislikes. Thank you for the haters, thank you for all the messages you send on festivals. Thank you for posting different pictures of my children. Thank you for the encouragement. Thank you for the trends you create in minutes and moments and thank you for all the good things you write about my films. Thank you for the good things you write about my co-actors and friends and their films,” he said.
The ‘Happy New Year’ star also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for all the 23 things his fans did for him in his 23 year career.
SRK’s first film Deewana, in which he co-starred with Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor, released on June 25, 1992.
The actor will next be seen in ‘Dilwale’, opposite Kajol, which hits theatres in December.
He also has ‘Fan’ coming up next year and Raees which will release on Eid 2016, the same time as Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’.
