When Mika stole Salmans Bajrangi Bhaijaan song

Date:

After ‘Bhar Do Jholi Meri’, Salman Khan has now released the second track of his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Thursday.

‘Aaj Ki Party’, a special Eid song was originally sung by Mika, however, Salman said that the singer has stolen his song, as the actor himself wanted to sing that song.
“Mika has stolen my song and that’s why this song is a sure shot hit. I tried a lot this time again to be the one who sings this song but Mika has beaten me again by bagging this song,” Salman said.

Even the track ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ from ‘Kick’ was meant to be sung by Salman but Mika lent his voice to this popular track in the end. Salman had even recorded his version of this blockbuster, but the one that was used in the movie was Mika’s.

Mika said, “Bhai (Salman) had sung Jumme Ki Raat brilliantly and I told him to release the song in his voice. I was in Jakarta when I received a call from him at 12.30 in the night asking whether I said the truth about liking his version. And he told to hear it again and send my version.”

“When he complimented me for the song ‘Hangover’, I shocked him by saying: ‘Wait, another song sung by me, Jumme Ki Raat, is coming up’,” said Salman.

This sent Mika into a state of panic as he felt his version was scrapped from the film. He contacted T-Series head Bhushan Kumar asking what was his fault and then only he realized that he was a victim of Salman’s prank.

‘Aaj Ki Party’ has been composed by Pritam and written by Shabbir Ahmed. Produced by Salman and Rockline Venkatesh, Bajrangi Bhaijaan will release on the Eid weekend this month.
