Dominos Pizza delivery man booked for molesting 5-year-old

Date:

New Delhi: How often it happens, you order a pizza and the delivery person stand out of your home with open door while you are searching for change money.

You may change this habit as a pizza delivery man has been arrested in South Delhi for allegedly molesting a five-year-old girl while delivering an order at her home.

According to police, Amit, employee of Domino’s Pizza had gone to the child’s home in South Delhi around 11.45 on Sunday morning.

The accused was coming down from the third floor after delivering the pizza when he saw the child on the ground floor. He switched off the lights of the balcony outside and then molested her, the police said.

When the five-year-old cried out in pain and raised an alarm, Amit fled from the spot, police said. The girl then narrated the incident to her mother.

The family then went and complained at the Domino’s outlet where they had ordered the pizza from, but when they demanded action, they claim Domino’s management said they will fire the delivery man and dissuaded them from calling the police.

The family lodged a complaint with the police shortly after that.
