Bajirao Mastani: The royal saga is about to begin

Mumbai: The wait is over. Bollywood warriors are coming. 

Yes, we are talking about, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming flick ‘Bajirao Mastani’. The first look of the film is out for the fans.

First Look and Star cast

The director/producer is known for his extravagant and colourful sets, luxurious costumes and melodious songs. This flick is no different.

The stills from the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, which was kept a secret for long time has finally been revealed for the fans.

In the stills, Ranveer Singh is seen in his royal finery – a white chicken ‘kalidaar kurta’ along with pearl and gold jewellery.

Whereas the star ladies – Deepika Padukone as Mastani and Priyanka Chopra as Kashi Bai have turned into lady warriors by donning the warrior suit.

We can see the back of Ranveer Singh, dressed as a warrior, sitting on a horse amidst flags flying in the wind in the poster. It also carries the release date of the film- December 18, 2015.

Plot

It is based on the love story of warrior Peshwa Baji Rao and his second wife Mastani and also his first wife played by PC.

As promised by Ranveer Singh on Twitter that “A storm is coming.” The powerful stills and poster of the film has definitely brought storm. The Gunde star also tweeted for his fans on July 14, “Teaser out on Thursday 16th July 2015 #BajiraoMastani”

The trailer will be out Friday and this much awaited film of the year will be released with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s ‘Dilwale’, directed by Rohit Shetty onDecember 18.
