While Salman Khan’s `Bajrangi Bhaijaan` has struck gold at the box-office in Pakistan, another Bollywood film `Bangistan` has been banned in Pakistan, reports suggest.
This news comes as a surprise to them and the film’s co-producer, Ritesh Sidhwani said he will fight it and go to Pakistan to work things out.
The film which stars Pulkit Samrat and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead has failed to get clearance from the Pakistani censor board.
According to a report in a leading daily, the film has been banned by Pakistan as they consider it to be anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan judging by its trailer and posters.
Bangistan is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali/ Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish Deshmukh) and Allah Rakha Khan/ Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit Samrat), who are brainwashed for an explosive mission but eventually they realize that their death wish is a futile exercise.
The film is slated to release on July 31.
