Manmohan Sonia and Rahul attack govt for undemocratic suspension of 25 MPs

New Delhi: Top leadership of Congress including Manmohan Singh, President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday escalated their attack on the government and slammed the latter on the undemocratic suspension of 25 MPs. Sonia Gandhi, who led a vociferous protest in the Parliament against the suspension of her party MPs, said democracy is being murdered in the country. Meanwhile, Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh said that suspending the members of the Congress is no way of resolving the issues. Rahul Gandhi also voiced the concerns of the ‘people of the country’ and said that the tainted ministers of the BJP should resign. He reiterated his statement and said that evidence proves that Sushma Swaraj has committed crimes.
