‘Bang Bang’ was a big hit of 2014, and after seeing its tremendous success, the makers have planned to come up with its sequel.
It was quite clear from quite some time that Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif won’t be a part of this sequel and instead some fresh pair will be taken for the lead roles.
Rumor mills were working overtime churning that Jacqueline Fernandez has replaced Katrina Kaif for the female role but the hunt for the male lead was still not over.
Although Hrithik was quite interested for the sequel, it seems things aren’t in his favour as the actor who is currently busy with Ashutosh Gowariker’s Mohenjo Daro, could not do anything other than opting to quit the sequel.
And the recent grapevine suggests, that makers are quite keen to rope Siddharth Malhotra opposite Jacqueline, who were recently seen sharing screen space in ‘Brothers’.
However, there is still no official confirmation from the makers, but if speculations go right, the duo will be seen in the Bang Bang sequel.
Bang Bang sequel is reportedly in its pre-production stage, and the shooting of the film might go on floors next year.
Rumours also suggest that director Sidharth Anand will continue with the Bang Bang series, which will not be a continuation of the prequel.
Well, for now we can only say that it will be interesting to see how Siddharth fits himself in Hrithik’s shoes and how the action-packed second installment will come out to be.
Will it have more power-packed performances or it will prove out to be another Bollywood movie. Well, only time has all the answers. For now we just need to wait and keep our fingers crossed.
