B-town wishes Onam

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and other actors took to micro-blogging website Twitter to wish their fans a very happy Onam.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, veteran actress Hema Malini, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar among others have wished their admirers a “happy and wonderful” Onam.

The festival is celebrated to honour King Mahabali, who according to legend ruled the state once, under whom the people were equal, prosperous and happy.

Bachchan, 72, took to the micro-blogging site to wish his fans on the joyous occasion.

‘Dream Girl’ Malini also tweeted

‘English Vinglish’ actress Sridevi Boney Kapoor also wished her fans.

Farhan Akhtar, who co-stars with Bachchan in the upcoming film ‘Wazir’ also took to Twitter.

National-award winning director, Madhur Bhandarkar also tweeted.

‘Kolaveri Di’ star Dhanush followed along.

Tamil film actor Suriya, who was seen in the Hindi movie ‘Rakta Charitra’ posted a truly Malayali wish.
