New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the nation in the 11th edition of his ‘Mann Ki Baat’, on Sunday.
In Sunday’s edition of the programme, Prime Minister Modi shared his thoughts on a variety of issues.
Prime Minister started the 11th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with a greeting to the nation on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
PM Modi highlighted Jan Dhan Yojana. “I am very happy that people supported the Jan Dhan Yojana so much,” PM Modi said.
“17.74 lakh bank accounts opened by poor under Jan Dhan Yojana and Rs. 22,000 crore deposited in them,” PM Modi added.

PM Modi condemned the protest in Gujarat by the Patel community.
“The events of Gujarat have anguished the nation. People will feel shocked if this happens in land of Gandhi and Sardar Patel,” Prime Minister said.

Talking about the Land Acquisition Bill, “There are many rumors being spread about Land Acquisition Bill, farmers have been scared. We do not want that.” PM Modi said.
