When Raina shared his ragging experience on ‘The Anupam Kher Show’

Date:

Mumbai: Suresh Raina, is definitely one of the most important players of the Indian cricket team. Suresh was recently seen doing conversation with Anupam Kher on his show, ‘The Anupam Kher Show- Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’, where he shared things about his life and his journey throughout.

The cricketer shared his devastating experience in boarding school where he was ragged endlessly. Suresh also shared that he had never even travelled from Muraad Nagar to Ghaziabad alone and living alone in Lucknow was a very big thing for him.

He faced a lot of difficulties while staying in hostel and even recalled a few seniors made him wash clothes at 2 am in the night and then he woke up at 5am for practice.

He was always afraid of being beaten up by his seniors and once when he left for home he didn’t return for two months.

His family pretended in front of school authorities that he was unwell, and in this way Suresh used to spend time at home. He even shared with Anupam Kher how he once went for a walk with his elder brother and confessed the real reason for returning home.

His brother, however, was the one who made him realise that his father didn’t have enough of financial stability and had a huge family to look after. Suresh was so touched that he went back to school and excelled in his game.

After that incidence, Suresh left for Lucknow and never looked back.
