Sufi singer Kailash Kher thinks Maula likes his voice

New Delhi: Kailash Kher has recently opened up about his connection with the word ‘Maula’ which he often uses in his songs.

Talking about the spiritual connect in sufi songs, the 42-year-old singer said that such songs are spiritual meditative numbers and cannot be placed in movies just for the sake of entertainment, one cannot use the word ‘Maula’ for random reason.

When asked if ‘Maula’ is his favourite word, the ‘Allah Ke Bande’ hit-maker said that he thinks the Maula likes his voice and added that in India, whenever someone sings songs related to the almighty, he needs to be careful as he will be accepted only if he sounds genuine.
