Tsering Tashi flags off Army Recruitment Rally at Tawang

The Army Recruitment rally being organized at High Altitude Stadium Tawang saw 1500 aspirants from various districts of Arunachal Pradesh turn up on Friday.

According to Northeast Today, the second day of the rally was flagged off by Tawang MLA cum Chairman State Pollution Control Board Tsering Tashi and Commander 190 Bde Brigadier DS Khuswaha in the presence of SP Tawang Anto Alphonse, ZPC Jambey Tsering, YUVA Arunachal President Tsetan Chombey Kee and other public leaders.

MLA Tsering Tashi also interacted with the candidates and motivated them to give it their best shot. The local MLA presented mementos to the recruiting officers from Zonal Recruiting Office (ZRO) Shillong and requested them to make the rally an annual event at Tawang.

In their message, Minister Tourism & UD Pema Khandu and MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary RWD Jambey Tashi thanked the Indian Army for making the rally possible at Tawang.

In turn, Director ZRO Shillong Col Manoj Sharma expressed his satisfaction over the support extended by local public and utmost co-ordination shown by Civil Administration.

The recruitment rally shall shortlist candidates for Written Exams in the category of GD Soldier, Tradesman and Clerical Grade in the Indian Army.
