Paris attacks: France to continue issuing visas to Indian nationals

François Richier, Ambassador of France to India will have an interaction with the press today at 3pm at the French Embassy to review the situation in France following the deadly Paris attacks.

The embassy in a statement said that, France has restored with immediate effect systematic checks of visas at its borders for security reasons, in the wake of the attacks.

However, entries of Indian nationals holding a valid Schengen visa are not affected.
French consular services across India continue to function normally and are issuing visas for France to Indian nationals, the statement added.
