Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said on Saturday that his company, Patanjali Ayurved, did not violate any FSSAI regulations, adding that the organisation will respond legally to the notice once they get it.
Ramdev told the media:
“Patanjali Ayurved has not violated any law of the FSSAI. Patanjali has so far followed all the guidelines of the FSSAI and we will follow the guidelines which will be made in the future.”
“The companies which are making noodles have the license. Pasta, noodles, vermicelli fall in the same category following the guideline of the FSSAI. We will send the report in five days,” he said.
The FSSAI had earlier objected to Patanjali releasing its noodles saying that the later did not have necessary licenses to sell such products in the market.
