Russian woman killed in road mishap in Goa

A 27-year-old Russian woman was crushed to death in a road mishap in North Goa today, police said.

Anna Pavavlova, riding pillion on a two-wheeler being driven by her husband, lost her life in the mishap in Candolim, a coastal village in North Goa about 12km from here.

Her husband, Sergie Pavlov (26), rammed his two- wheeler into a car which was ahead of them. Due to the collision, Pavavlova lost balance and came under a mini-truck coming from the opposite direction, they said.

She was crushed under the rear wheel of the truck and died on the spot, police said, adding an investigation in the mishap was on.
